Privacy Policy &
Terms of Service

Last updated September 17, 2026

These policies cover Sunrise Electric LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, which also operates under its registered alternative business name Evergleam Lights LLC (together, “we,” “our,” or “us”). They apply to sunriseelectricnm.com, lights.sunriseelectricnm.com, evergleamnm.com, our phone lines, our text messaging program, and the electrical and permanent lighting services we provide.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a local electrical and lighting contractor, not a data business. We collect only what we need to quote, schedule, complete, and support your project.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact and project details: your name, phone number, email address, property address, and anything you tell us about your project when you request a quote, call or text us, fill out a form, or sign up for a service. If you send a photo of your home for a design mockup, we keep that photo with your quote.
  • Billing information: when you pay us, payment details are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
  • Job records: install date, products installed, warranty registration, service visits, and photos of the completed work. Manufacturer warranties require us to keep these records.
  • Communications: the content of calls, texts, and emails with us, so we can keep track of your project.
  • Website usage data: standard analytics such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, referring site, and how you found us, collected through cookies and advertising pixels (for example Google and Meta).

2. How we use your information

  • To prepare quotes and design mockups, schedule site visits and installations, and complete your project.
  • To communicate with you about your quote, appointment, install, warranty, and service visits by phone, email, or text message where you have opted in.
  • To process payments and send invoices and receipts.
  • To register manufacturer warranties on your behalf and honor our own workmanship warranty.
  • To send seasonal offers and reminders, only if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time.
  • To ask for a review or referral after your project is complete.
  • To measure and improve our website and advertising, and to protect against fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with permitting, licensing, tax, and other legal obligations.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only as needed to serve you:

  • Service providers who help us run the business — payment processing, scheduling and customer-management software, messaging and email platforms, and website hosting — and who may use your information only to provide those services to us.
  • The product manufacturer (for example, Jellyfish Lighting) for warranty registration and for the installation records and possible installation inspections its dealer program requires.
  • Permitting authorities when a permit or inspection is required for your project.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfer — if the company is sold or merged, customer records may transfer with it and remain subject to this policy.

Text messaging (SMS) consent and phone numbers. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your SMS opt-in consent and the phone number you provided for texting will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.

4. Text messaging program

When you provide your mobile number and opt in — by checking the consent box on one of our web forms, by texting us first, or by telling us verbally at an appointment — you agree to receive text messages from Sunrise Electric / Evergleam Lights about your quote, appointment scheduling and reminders, project updates, warranty and service visits, review requests, and, if you chose to, seasonal offers.

  • Message frequency varies by project: typically 2–6 messages per month while a project is active, and no more than 2 promotional messages per month.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will get one final confirmation text.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the phone number or email below.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and the authorized account holder of the mobile number you provide.
  • Sunrise Electric LLC and Evergleam Lights LLC are the same company and one messaging program; opting in on either site covers messages from both, which may occasionally mention our other services.
  • Consent records: when you opt in, we log the phone number, the date and time, the source (which form, or that you texted us first), your IP address for web opt-ins, and the exact consent language you saw. We keep these records for at least four years so we can prove your consent if asked.

5. Photos of your home

We use only real photos of real installations in our marketing. We will ask for your permission before using a photo of your home in our advertising, website, or social media, and we will not show your street address or house number. Design mockups made on a photo you send us are used only to prepare your quote. If you have given permission and later change your mind, tell us and we will remove the photo from active use going forward; we cannot recall copies already printed or viewed.

6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Our sites use cookies and similar tools from services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta to understand site traffic and measure advertising. These tools may collect device identifiers and browsing activity on our sites and may show you our ads on other sites. You can limit cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google's personalized ads at adssettings.google.com, manage Meta's ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, and opt out of many ad networks at optout.networkadvertising.org. Opting out means ads you see are less relevant, not that you see fewer ads, and some site features may not work without cookies. Our sites do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Cookie and analytics data is never connected to your text messaging consent or shared for third-party marketing.

7. Data security and retention

We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, including password-protected systems with access limited to people who need it and two-factor authentication on our business accounts. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep quote and job records for as long as a warranty is in effect and as long as tax and business-record laws require, then delete or anonymize them. Leads that never become customers are deleted or anonymized within two years.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy, correction, or deletion (subject to records we must keep for warranty, tax, or legal reasons).
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email. We process unsubscribes within 10 days; you may still receive a message already scheduled in that window. We keep your email on a suppression list so we do not market to you again.
  • Opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
  • Opt out of phone marketing by asking us not to call.
  • If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, or Oregon), you may have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, and correct your information, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We may not meet those laws' size thresholds, but we honor these requests for everyone as a matter of practice. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under state law.
  • How to make a request: contact us below. To protect you, we verify requests by sending a code to the email address or mobile number we already have on file. An authorized agent may act for you with your written permission plus the same verification. We respond within 45 days.
  • Referral credits: we may offer a credit or thank-you for referring a neighbor or friend. Any such offer is voluntary; the value is stated in the offer and is not tied to the value of your personal information.

9. Children

Our services and websites are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party links

Our websites link to third-party sites such as the product manufacturer, Google reviews, and social media. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.

Terms of Service

By using our websites, requesting a quote, or hiring us, you agree to these terms. A signed quote or contract for a specific project governs that project; where it conflicts with these terms, the signed document wins.

1. Who we are

Sunrise Electric LLC, also operating under its registered alternative business name Evergleam Lights LLC, is a licensed New Mexico electrical contractor (NM License #422774), licensed, bonded, and insured. Evergleam Lights LLC is the alternative business name, registered with the New Mexico Secretary of State, under which Sunrise Electric LLC sells and installs permanent exterior lighting. It is the same company, not a separate entity. We are an Authorized Dealer of Jellyfish Lighting; we are not the company Jellyfish Lighting.

2. Quotes and estimates

  • Lighting quotes are usually prepared from satellite imagery and the information you give us, without a site visit. They are estimates. Final pricing is confirmed at or before installation once we verify roofline, access, and electrical requirements.
  • Electrical service quotes are based on the conditions we can see or that you describe. Hidden conditions (damaged wiring, code deficiencies, inaccessible areas) may change the scope and price; we will tell you before doing additional work.
  • Design mockups are illustrations on a photo of your home to show placement and color. They are not a guarantee of exact appearance.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise. Promotional offers have the dates stated in the offer.

3. Deposits, payments, and scheduling

  • Permanent lighting projects require a deposit of 50% of the quoted price to reserve an installation date and order materials. The balance is due on the day the installation is completed.
  • Electrical service work is due on completion unless the quote says otherwise. Larger projects may be billed in stages stated in the contract.
  • We accept check, ACH bank transfer, and major cards. A processing fee of 3% may apply to card payments; check and ACH have no fee.
  • Balances unpaid more than 10 days after completion accrue a late charge of 1.5% per month (18% per year) or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is less. We may file a lien as allowed under New Mexico law for unpaid work.
  • Installation dates depend on weather, material delivery, and access. If we need to reschedule, we will contact you promptly and offer the next available date.

4. Cancellations and changes

  • You may cancel a permanent lighting order within 3 days of paying your deposit for a full refund.
  • After 3 days, custom-length materials may already be ordered for your home. Your deposit will be refunded less the cost of materials that cannot be returned, any restocking fees, and any work already performed.
  • Changes to scope after the deposit is paid may change the price and the installation date. We will confirm changes in writing (text or email is fine) before proceeding.
  • Please give at least 2 business days' notice to reschedule a service appointment.

5. Your property and access

  • You confirm you own the property or have the owner's permission for the work, and that you have obtained any HOA approval required for exterior lighting. HOA approval is your responsibility.
  • You agree to give us safe access to the work area, exterior walls, roofline, attic or crawl space, and electrical panel on the scheduled date, and to keep pets and children clear of the work area.
  • We work to the National Electrical Code as adopted in New Mexico and will pull permits and schedule inspections where required. Permit fees are included only if stated in your quote.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including damaged wiring, stucco or roofing defects, or code violations we did not create, or for damage to unmarked private utility lines.

6. Warranties

  • Permanent lighting products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty: for Jellyfish Lighting, 5 years on eave (roofline) lighting and 3 years on landscape and patio lighting, under the manufacturer's terms. We register your warranty and help you make a claim; the manufacturer, not Sunrise, honors product warranties.
  • Our workmanship on permanent lighting installations is warranted for 1 year from the installation date. Electrical work is warranted for 1 year from completion.
  • Warranties do not cover damage from weather events beyond normal conditions, power surges, alterations by others, misuse, accidents, or normal wear. Full payment is required for warranties to be in effect.
  • Except as stated here, we make no other warranties, express or implied, about the products or services. Product descriptions, lifespans, and performance are as published by the manufacturer.

7. Manufacturer inspections and records

As an authorized dealer, we keep a record of each installation (name, address, contact information, install date, and products installed) and share it with the manufacturer for warranty purposes. The manufacturer may contact you to survey or inspect the installation to confirm it meets its standards. You will be notified before any inspection visit.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages such as lost use or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under New Mexico law.

9. Use of our websites

  • Website content, photos, and design are owned by Sunrise Electric LLC or used under license from the manufacturer and may not be copied without permission.
  • You agree not to use our websites or forms to send spam, submit false information, or interfere with their operation.
  • We aim to keep the sites accurate and available, but we do not guarantee they will always be error-free or online.
  • Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

10. SMS / text messaging terms

Program: Sunrise Electric / Evergleam Lights customer messaging. By providing your mobile number and opting in — by checking the consent box on our web form, by texting us first, or by verbal agreement at an appointment — you consent to receive text messages from Sunrise Electric LLC and Evergleam Lights at that number, including messages sent using automated technology, about quotes, appointment scheduling and reminders, project and installation updates, warranty and service visits, review requests, and, if you opted in to them, seasonal offers.

  • Frequency: message frequency varies; typically 2–6 messages per month during an active project, and no more than 2 promotional messages per month.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details of your plan.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will not receive further texts unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by emailing or calling us.
  • Help: reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at (505) 226-2642 or info@sunriseelectricnm.com.
  • Not a condition of purchase: consent to receive text messages is not required to buy any product or service. You can always reach us by phone or email instead.
  • Carriers: supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy: your phone number and opt-in consent are used only for this program and will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy on this page.
  • If you change or give up your mobile number, please let us know so we can update our records.

11. Electronic communications and signatures

When you contact us by email, text, or through our websites, you agree to receive communications from us electronically, and that quotes, contracts, change orders, notices, and receipts we deliver electronically — including quotes you approve by e-signature, text, or email — satisfy any requirement that they be in writing. Keep a copy for your records.

12. Your responsibility for what you tell us

You agree that the information you give us about your property, ownership or authority, HOA status, and existing conditions is accurate, and you agree to cover any cost, claim, or loss we incur because it was not — for example, an HOA or co-owner dispute over lighting you approved, or work we had to redo because conditions were misdescribed. This does not apply to problems caused by our own mistakes.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. Before filing any claim, both sides agree to try in good faith to resolve the issue directly with us first.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with the date at the top, is the current version. Continued use of our websites or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
