Questions people ask before they call

Straight answers.

How much does an electrician cost in Albuquerque?

Repairs are quoted on site after we diagnose — you approve the number before we fix anything. Projects like panel upgrades and EV chargers get a written quote up front. Call and we'll give you a range for your situation before anyone comes out.

Do you pull permits?

Yes, for anything that requires one — panels, new circuits, remodels, EV chargers. We pull it, schedule the inspection, and meet the inspector.

What do I need for an EV charger?

A Level 2 charger needs a dedicated 240V circuit, usually 40–60A, and enough capacity on your panel. We check the load, run the circuit, mount the charger, and handle the permit.

How do I know if my panel needs to be replaced?

Warm breakers, a burning smell, lights dimming when the AC kicks on, a Federal Pacific or Zinsco label, or a 100A panel on a house that's grown into it. Any of those is worth a look.

How fast can you come out?

Most service calls are scheduled the same week. Sparks, burning smells, or a house without power get a call back within the hour during business hours.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Sunrise Electric LLC holds New Mexico contractor license #422774 and is bonded and insured. Every job is run by a licensed electrician.

Do you work in Santa Fe?

For larger projects — panels, EV chargers, remodels — yes. For quick service calls we stay within about an hour of Albuquerque.

Do you do permanent Christmas lights?

Yes, through our lighting division, Evergleam Lights. Same licensed crew; get a quote there.
